Now the program store XML data in the database. The process may last a bit with big XML files.
At the end of this process, the panel displays information about the XML data items stored (XML file name and timestamp):




If one data item is selected, it is now possible to update it or to extract data to obtain a new xml file.
To update data, press the "Update data in DB" button. and choose the new file in the file selector.
After update, the new data item is displayed in the data panel with a hierarchical shape.



To extract data under a xml format, select the data item in the list and press the "Extract data" button.


In the file chooser, select the destination directory, the file name and press the OK button.


To extract a subset of data under a xml format, select the data item in the list and press the "Segment search" button.

The search window allows two modes for searching:

Navigation search: In the navigation window, information is presented in a hierarchical way as in the original XML file.



After selection of a node, user can search for children nodes with the ">" button. When a node is selected in the left column, column values are displayed in the right column.
the "<" button allows return to parent mode.


Keyword search: In the Key search window, user select an XML element name in the pop-up menu, and then values for attribute.



Found elements are displayed in the right column. The number of elements is displayed above the first element contain. Navigation from one element to another is done with ">" and "<" buttons


When the search element is found and contain displayed in the right column, press the "Extract fragment" button.


In the file chooser, select the destination directory, the file name and press the OK button.
